French Fridays! Remembering my time in Saint-Emilion, France and attending the Jurade Ceremony. Truly one of the most memorable experiences in my life!
More about St Emilion Jurade: An induction ceremony to welcome new dignitaries to the Saint-Emilion Jurade will be held as part of the festivities of this day. The inductees are recognised enthusiasts or wine professionals from France and elsewhere; they will all become ambassadors for Saint-Emilion wines. A lunch will be served in the very centre of the old medieval town and the dishes will be accompanied by Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Lussac Saint-Emilion and Puisseguin Saint-Emilion wines. After lunch the “Judgement of the New Wine” will be proclaimed.
